Download limit of 5Mb strictly applied.
USB ports are deactivated on the majority of the PCs.
Several PCs are old and are running Windows 2000.
Microsoft Packages are often not available.
Printers are not well configured and there is no getting out of paying for wasted paper. Printing PDFs is tricky and requires staff help.
Staff patrol the isles and watch what you access, so privacy could be an issue.
Staff are not accommodating enough. Expect to be charged even if the computer is not working properly and your time is wasted. On occasion I've gone there to print a document. After spending time formatting the page for the printer, I've only then been told the printer is broken and I have to cough up for the time.
Attracts young gamers with deep pockets who shout at each other from across the room. Take headphones(!)for the 100dB noise from the bowling alley.
Rates are on the expensive side, but are reduced from 6pm each night to R10/hr.
Sometimes there is a queue at busy periods.
Chairs are sometimes broken.
No paper to write notes.
Verdict: Try the Cafe across the way.
